Rialto man thought to have died violently

Gardai are investigating after a man’s body was found in Rialto, Dublin. It’s believed he died violently.

Stephanie Rohan reports from the scene: "Gardaí were called to a house at Herberton Park at around 3 o'clock yesterday where they found a man in his 60s. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It's believed he sustained a number of injuries and died violently.

"The garda technical bureau carried out an exam at the house and a post mortem is expected to be carried out today. Gardaí say the results of this will determine the course of their investigation."
