The recently retired curator of Cavan County Museum says she's pleased with
what she achieved over the years.
Savina Donohoe officially retired on Friday, after more than two decades in
the position.
At recent meetings of Cavan County Council and the Ballyjamesduff MD,
tributes were paid to Donohoe for her efforts to put the museum and the
county on the national stage.
Among her most notable projects were the development of the World War One
trenches and a number of exhibitions on the Decade of Centenaries.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound News, Savina said her ambitions grew
as she progressed in the role.
