The heatwave that has seen record breaking temperatures in many parts of the country is coming to an end.
Many Met Éireann weather stations recorded temperatures of over 30 degrees yesterday including in Mullingar, Co Westmeath, Oak Park in Co Carlow and Dunsany in Co Meath.
The east will see the best of the temperatures reaching 28 degrees in places while other parts could see the mercury reaching 22 degrees.
