More resources are urgently needed for the Family Resource Centre in Clones following the rising population of migrants locally.
That's according to local Sinn Fein Councillor Pat Treanor who made the calls at a recent meeting of the Ballybay Clones Municipal District.
The local councillor brought a motion that was supported to write to Tulsa, Minister for Intergration Roderic O Gorman and all local TDs and senators seeking their support for much needed extra funding for the facility.
In a recent national newspaper article, it was said that up on 50% of the population of Clones is now made of up migrants.
Cllr Pat Treanor says funding and further resources for the local centre is much needed to help the people that have now made Clones their new home.
