Residents of a Cootehill housing estate are meeting with Cavan County Council this evening to discuss a local social housing project.
It comes after elected representatives held a similar meeting with the executive on Friday.
The meeting relates to a proposed housing development at Magheranure, Tullygarvey, Cootehill, which would be adjoined to a private housing estate.
Part VIII planning for the 28 houses was published in August and was due to be signed off at a recent MD meeting.
The signing of the agreement had been adjourned to allow a number concerns be addressed.
Shannonside Northern Sound News understands there's no objection to social housing by any party or group, however some are calling for the number houses to be reduced by four, or for an alternative entrance to be constructed.
