A report on the future of the Market House in Castleblayney has found that 85% of respondents are "fully supportive" of plans to restore the building.
The report was carried out by architectural consultants AP+E and was presented to the Carrickmacross-Castleblayney MD at a meeting yesterday.
460 people took park in the survey and just under a quarter of respondents were under the age of 25.
It was confirmed at yesterday's meeting that the HSE is interested in becoming a tenant.
Acting Director of Services, Cathal Flynn, said a design team should be in place by June.
