The family of a 38-year-old Cavan woman who disappeared in Portugal nearly three years ago have renewed their appeal for help.
Jean Tighe from Munterconnaught was reported missing by friends she was staying in a hostel with in July 2020.
However, it was only when she didn't return to Ireland at Christmas, that her family was informed of her disappearance.
In January 2021, the family reported Jean missing to An Garda Siochana in Dublin.
Her siblings are now pleading for the Irish's Government help amid concerns over the Portuguese investigation into her disappearance.
Speaking to Northern Sound last September, Jean's sister Leona, called on the Gardai and the Justice Minister to get involved in the case.
She highlighted at the time how there were "problems" with the investigation being carried out by the Portuguese police.]
