The rate of Covid-19 is falling across all but two electoral areas in Cavan and Monaghan.
Carrickmacross-Castleblayney still has the highest incidence rate in the region, but it’s significantly lower than last week.
There are 671.8 cases per 100,000 population in Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in the two weeks up to Monday, down from 1,078 a week previous.
A similar fall was seen in the Monaghan MD, which has went from over an incidence rate of over 1,000 to 550.
Ballybay-Clones has a rate of 457.8, down from 649.
Bailieborough-Cootehill has the lowest incidence rate in Cavan at 348, and is the only LEA in the two counties to be below the national average of 389.
However, the Ballyjamesduff and Cavan-Belturbet areas have seen increases in the past week.
Ballyjamesduff has gone from an incidence rate of 407 to 426, while Cavan-Belturbet is now at 562, where it was 428 last week.
