The R197 road between Gannon's Cross and Belturbet is closed to traffic. Cavan Gardaí told Northern Sound the busy road has been closed this afternoon while they deal with an incident.
Officers are currently involved in the removal of a lorry from the area.
Local gardaí say they expect the R197 to remain closed for another two hours.
