There are still unanswered questions in the controversy surrounding Barry Cowen according to a local TD.
It comes after Barry Cowen was sacked from the job by Taoiseach Micheál Martin last night.
He was removed just 17 days into his tenure after refusing to give further public statements on his 2016 drink driving offence.

Dara Calleary has been approved by the Dáil to replace Mr Cowen.
Matt Carthy says the Taoiseach needs to clarify when he became aware of further developments in the case.
