Questions have been raised about the slow response to repairing the roof at St.Bricin's College.

The school in Belturbet has been at the centre of a controversial plan to merge it with St.Mogues in Bawnboy and create a new school in Ballyconnell.

At a recent meeting of the CMETB councillor and board member Brendan Fay, asked when work to the roof, which is 'falling down', in St.Bricin's will be fixed and why work had taken so long.

He stated that it seemed the Department were reluctant to fix it and asked for a timeline.

Chief Executive John Kearney, said that a tender for the repairs had been issued and he expects work to commence in 2 - 3 weeks.
