Public realm works are underway in Cavan which will see Townhall Street in the centre of the town closed for the next four weeks.
Townhall Street and its car park in Cavan Town will remain closed to allow for the planned public realm works.
The closure that's now underway will remain in place until Friday, July 21st, with the aim of transforming Cavan Town centre to make it more attractive to tourists.
Cavan County Council secured funding from various streams to transform the busy town centre area.
The refurbishment at the Town Hall Street and Farnham Street is part of a wider project aimed at rejuvenating the historic part of Cavan Town which has also allowed people have their say through public consultation events.
