A public meeting is taking place tonight to try and reverse the Cavan Bank of Ireland branch closures.
This zoom meeting is being organised and facilitated b y Sinn Féin TD Pauline Tully, who last week said the closures were not strategic, but 'a knee-jerk reaction that cannot be justified.'
She believes that the organisation has no regard for their customers and the closures will further damage communities that have already been economically left behind by government policy over the past decade.
