A public meeting is being held in Ballybay this evening to address recent
anti-social incidents.
Organisers say the aim is to highlight drug use and anti-social behaviour that is said to be prevalent in the town.
Local Senator Robbie Gallagher says he's received confirmation that Gardai
will carry out additional high-visibility patrols in light of recent
reported incidents.
The meeting is taking place at 5pm, on the Mart Road beside the Town Park
and will be attended by a local Garda Inspector.
Members of the community are being invited to attend and discuss an action
plan with public representatives.
