A public consultation event is planned later this week for the future plans of the derelict Percy French Hotel in Ballyjamesduff.
The prominent building in the town is set to be used as a community and enterprise hub following contacts being signed last month.
Minister Heather Humphreys announced a €7.6m Rural Regeneration Grant for the building. This is an opportunity for locals to have their say on what facilities they would like to see in the building
The consultation is running from 2pm to 7pm at The Old Courthouse, this Thursday and you are being encouraged to give your opinion on what facility you would like to see. Local councillor, Trevor Smith says this community hub when it is up and running will play a vital role within the town of Ballyjamesduff.
