Emergency Departments in both Cavan and Monaghan Hospitals are continuing to experience unprecedented numbers of presentations.
As a result, people are urged to utilise their GP if more appropriate.
In a statement issued to Norther Sound on behalf of the HSE, multiple outbreaks of both Covid and Flu in Cavan and Monaghan Hospitals and also Lisdarn have been reported.

Visiting is now restricted hospital wide and at the discretion of the nurse manager.
If patients have medical concerns that are not an emergency they are advised to contact their GP or local Pharmacy before attending ED.
