The HSE says public access to Castle Saunderson forest will be continued, despite the Cavan Covid test centre moving there.
Concerns have been raised about the HSE's decision to move the centre from Ballinagh to the forest park.
The HSE announced on Friday that the Scouting Ireland centre would now be used as the current site at the Health Centre in Ballinagh will resume providing GP services.
However, some in the surrounding areas raised concerns as the park is frequently used by locals to exercise.
They say it's one of the only areas people can exercise safely in the locality.
Julie McAvinney says people want assurances that access will be permitted to the park for members of the public to allow for exercise:
The HSE has this afternoon provided a statement to Northern Sound News, it says the park will remain open to the public.
It says transport will be provided by the Civil Defence to Castle Saunderson if people do not have their own transport available.
