The PSNI has said reports of shots being fired at Enniskillen Police Station yesterday were "nothing untoward".
A group, believed to be the Continuity IRA, claimed it had fired at the station and left a viable device in the area.
The PSNI says a thorough search was carried out but "nothing untoward was found".
They've appealed for anyone with information on the claims to come forward.
The incident has been condemned locally. First Minister and DUP MLA Arlene Foster and Sinn Féin MLA Michelle Gildernew have both criticised those responsible for the alert.
