Police in Northern Ireland have been given more time to question two men who were arrested over the shooting of senior detective John Caldwell in Omagh last week.
The officer was shot several times at a sports centre ten days ago, and is still critically ill in hospital.
A 33-year-old and a 57-year-old remain in custody. Six men previously arrested have been released.
