A Cavan Councillor has announced the provision of service sites which could bring the housing market back to life and encourage more people to live in rural towns and villages.
John Paul Feeley says that while some parts of County Cavan may be excluded from the plans as part of the planning process which requires individuals to demonstrate a link to certain areas, the council is committed to doing everything that will protect the right for people to build in their own community.
The provision of service sites across the area will benefit in particular those with links to rural communities and farming backgrounds.
