A Monaghan Representative for Aontú says the A&E overcrowding situation is a crisis and is only getting worse.
A National Day of Action against A&E Overcrowding is planned across the Island of Ireland tomorrow afternoon.
At 1pm demonstrations will take place outside of hospitals to highlight the current situation in accident and emergency departments.
Protests are planned for up to 20 hospitals including Cavan, Monaghan, Navan and Drogheda.

Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín, who is the chairperson of Save Navan Hospital campaign, along with hospital campaigners all over the country have decided to organise this national protest.
