Proposals have been put forward to improve and develop the Ballyjamesduff Library.
At this month's meeting of the Ballyjamesduff Municipal District the current building was described as 'not fit for purpose'.
Fine Gael's Trevor Smith said the current size was restrictive and limited the numbers of schools and groups they could facilitate at one time.
It was agreed by the executive that they should look to move to a new building and had some options in mind.
