Property prices have increased by over 13% in the past year across the Northern Sound region.
The latest MyHome.ie report found that there's been a "very sharp price inflation" for properties in the border counties, notably in Cavan.
The county has seen an annual increase of 13.4%, with a median asking price of €190,000.
In Co Monaghan, there's been an increase of 12.1%, where the median asking price is €185,000.
Nationwide, the price of buying a property has increased by almost 4%.
