Property prices continue to rise across Cavan/Monaghan

The number of properties for sale has also increased across the region during Q3 of this year.

Property prices have risen across the Northern Sound region in Q3 of this year. According to the latest MyHome.ie Property Price Report, prices in Cavan have risen by €5,000 during the quarter. The report for Q3 2024 shows that the median asking price for a property in Co Cavan is now €220,000. This represents a price increase of  €10,500 compared with this time last year.

Elsewhere, property prices in Monaghan have risen by €12,500 during the quarter, according to the latest MyHome.ie Property Price Report. According to the report, the median asking price for a property in the county is now €210,000. This means prices have risen by €10,000 compared with this time last year.

There were 242 properties for sale in Cavan at the end of Q3 2024 - an increase of 4% over the quarter. Meanwhile, there were 104 properties for sale in Monaghan at the end of Q2 2024 - an increase of 9% over the quarter.
