A property marking event will be held in Co Monaghan on the 1st of April next. The event is in conjunction with Clones Gardaí. Proceedings kick off at 12 midday and take place at McNally's Service Station in Newbliss.
People are being advised by Gardaí to get their property marked as part of a concerted effort to reduce the risk of theft. They say it can act as a "deterrent" to criminals.
