Progress is being made to remove the stigma around mental health among Travellers in Cavan.
That's according to the HSE's first Traveller Mental Health Peer Support Worker.
Julie Duke has taken up the role after graduating from DCU last month.
Suicide rates in the Traveller community are up to seven times higher than settled people.
She works to use her own lived experience to support others through mental health difficulties.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Julie said there's more understanding than before.
