The Glanbia group has seen its profits fall in 2020 as the company’s revenue improved slightly.
The global nutrition company, which has a base in Virginia, County Cavan issued its annual report for 2020 this morning.
Covid-19 related challenges are said to be behind the group’s 20 per cent drop in profits after tax, and a fall of earnings of a similar size.
Like-for-like revenue grew 1.8 per cent on last year, with Group Managing Director Siobhan Talbot saying a “robust operating performance” helps trends improve for the second half of the year.
