The Cavan Monaghan Science Festival begins today with an interview with a
local Professor who's become a household name.
Frank McNally will interview Kileevan native Professor Sam McConkey tonight.
It's one of a number of events taking place during this year's festival,
which is taking place online due to Covid-19.

It's taking place in conjunction with the national Science Week which is now
in its 25th year.
Among the speakers in Cavan and Monaghan this year is Operation
Transformation's Clinical Psychologist Dr Eddie Murphy.
He says he'll be talking about the impact of Covid-19 on our mental health:
