The LGBT pride flag has been raised above Monaghan County Council's headquarters.
It's the first time the rainbow flag will be flown at Monaghan Council offices, with it also being hoisted above CMETB buildings in the region.
The flag was raised by Cathaoirleach Colm Carthy at the Council's headquarters in Monaghan town this morning with members of the Gardaí, Councillors and Council staff in attendance.
