The number of homes, businesses and farms still without power in the Northern Sound region now stands at 10,000.
The figure is down from 12,750 yesterday (Wednesday) evening and 55,000 on the day the storm struck almost a week ago last Friday.
ESB confirmed the latest figure to Northern Sound this morning. "Approximately 10,000 customers as of 9:30am, Thursday are without power across both counties as a result of Storm Éowyn," an ESB spokesperson said.
