The popular street food festival started back in 2018 and since then has only gone from strength to strength.

The Monaghan Street Food Festival will make its widely anticipated return this coming weekend. The summer event will take place this Saturday, August 24th from 11am to 6pm. This one, day free event and feast of fun is not to be missed, packed with food stalls, arts and crafts.

Celebrity Chefs Jeeny Maltese and Aaron Duffy will be cooking in the Castle Leslie Live Demo Kitchen, plus street performers will bring live entertainment for the whole family to enjoy on the day. Jenn Gonnelly is the Street Food Co-Ordinator. Speaking to Northern Sound, Jenn says that this weekend's event will be bigger and better than ever before.

Speaking ahead of this weekend's event, Jenn said, "I'm so excited about the Street Food Festival in Monaghan this year. We close down the centre of town from Church Square to the Diamond and stack the road with food trucks, venders, producers, artists and crafters and it's just an excellent event which is free for the whole family."
