The work of a talented Cavan artist is now on display as part of a new and exciting exhibition which will run until the 24th of February at the Millennium Court, Portadown. 'The Irish Palette' brings together work by not only Cavan's Michelle Harton but artists from right across Ireland.
Speaking to Northern Sound, the popular artist revealed that her love and passion for art and all things creative stems from a very young age. Over the years, Michelle has primarily focused on acrylic paint and her work is often inspired by her love of animals and mystical landscapes.
Last year, Michelle also created a large collection of work based on Southern Korean folklore where her work is currently still on tour there. Speaking about her current exhibition in Co Armagh, Michelle said that it showcases the work of 13 artists including herself who have created a total of 60 paintings.
