Plans have been lodged with Cavan County Council for a major housing development on an unfinished housing estate on the outskirts of Kingscourt.
The proposed works, on the Carrickmacross Road in the townland of Lisasturrin, is seeking the retention of four existing, semi-detached dwellings.
There are also five dwellings that are partially constructed at the site.
It's proposed that these are demolished and replaced with 29 new dwellings, bringing the total number of houses to 33.
All the properties will be two-storey dwellings, of between one and four bedrooms.
There will also be parking provision for 54 vehicles.
A decision is expected towards the end of July.
