Planning permission is being sought for a new housing and retail development in Cavan. Padraig Rudden has applied to Cavan County Council for the construction of a four-storey mixed use building on the Railway Road in Cavan.
The building will comprise of a takeaway and a retail commercial unit on ground floor level and a total of 11 apartments. These would be made up of two one-bedroom units, three two-bed units and six three-bed units, all with balconies, or ground floor terraces.
Also included in the application is bin storage and storage units, electric vehicle charging points and alterations to the vehicle entrance. Cavan County Planners will decide on the issue in November.
