A planned expansion of the Cabu by the Lakes holiday park in Cavan has been appealed.
The plans for 15 new cabins at the site in Killykeen Forest Park were approved by Cavan County Council last month.
The development would be a mix of detached and semi-detached cabins and barnhouses.
It's the latest stage of the Cabu by the Lakes park, which has been developed since it was bought by Cabu from Coillte in recent years.
It opened last year after a major refurbishment of the site.
The plans for the cabins were approved by Cavan County Council last month but they have now been appealed by An Taisce.
In its submission to the Council in April, the organisation said it had concerns over the environmental impact the site would have.
It also questioned the visual impact of the development as it is planned for an elevated site.
Noise and its impact on people using the Forest Park and the animals living within it was also raised as an issue.
A decision is expected from An Bord Pleanála by Christmas.
