Planning permission is being sought for change of use of a former restaurant in Castleblayney into accommodation. The application is for the change of use of the Ned Kelly buildings on main street in the town into bed and breakfast and hostel accommodation.
Liam Boyle has applied to Monghan County Council for the permission that includes alterations to the elevations, new access / escape stairs to the rear and renovations. The plans also include the inclusion of a lightwell / courtyard on the first floor and all associated site development works.
County planners will decide on the application by mid March.
