Planning sought for new development at local hospital

Planning permission is being sought for a new development at Monaghan Hospital. The HSE have applied to Monaghan County Council to demolish the existing derelict ambulance building and associated gate lodge residence. This is to facilitate the construction of a new carpark area.

Also included in the application is the replacing of the existing roadside boundary wall and railings. Monaghan County Planners will decide on the issue towards the end of August.
