Planning permission has been refused for a project that would have involved the construction of 18 homes in Co Cavan.
It's been deemed that the "scale" of the development would "result in an unacceptable impact on existing residential amenities".
Drysdale Developments lodged the application for a site at Tanderagee, Kells Road, in Bailieborough.
The plans included the development of 18, two-storey semi-detached dwellings, with optional attic accommodation.
In its decision, the County Council added that the "proposed development would endanger public safety" and would "generate dangerous cross-over traffic".
