A commercial unit in Ballyjamesduff is to be transformed into a training and support centre for people with intellectual disabilities.
Oldcastle-registered Karra Asset Holdings Limited has applied for planning permission to retain and continue alterations to No 10 Dublin Street in the Cavan town.
The application submitted in recent weeks is for the purposed works of retrofitting of new windows, accessible doors and internal layout changes for Drumlin House service users.
Drumlin House has a centre in operation in Cootehill already.
County planners will decide on the application by mid February.
