Castleblayney College is applying for planning permission to construct a two-storey extension to include three SEN classrooms.
The application states the extension is to be constructed on the south east of the school.
The College wants to develop a central activities area, external; play area and sensory garden.
Alterations within the school included the development of a safe base classroom which would form an internal link to the proposed SEN extension.
The plans, which can be viewed on the Monaghan County Council planning portal, include changes to the western facade of the building and a request to increase the number of car parking spaces at the college by nine.
