Planning permission is being sought for a "worker's retreat" in Co Monaghan.
The worker's retreat is described as "an office pod in the countryside with fibre speed internet" and would be developed at the site of an existing farm at Shelvins, Glaslough
The application says it's "a concept that emerged from covid and the need for remote working" and "will cut down on time spent sitting in traffic and commuting to cities like Dublin".
The plans would see the construction of ten 'ECOPOD' offices, alongside a communal welfare pod so that workers "can create their own office space and interact within a community environment".
The application is at pre-validation stage and a decision is expected in May.
