Planning permission is being sought for 16 new homes in Carrickmacross. The application submitted this week by Eakin Developments Ltd, if given the green light, would allow for a mix of 2, 4 and 5-bed homes to be constructed.
The proposed development would include three 3-storey 4-bed detached dwellings, one 2-bed bungalow detached, two 2-bed bungalow semi-detached, two 5-bed two storey detached dwellings, and eight 4-bed two storey semi-detached homes.
A 2 metre high boundary wall along with an open landscaped area and ancillary site works with connections to existing public services and access through adjoining Drummond Radhairc estate at Drummond Otra are are part of these plans. County planners will make a decision on this Dundalk Road in Carrickmacross application by mid June.
