The home of Cavan GAA was recently granted permission for a brand new three-storey spectator stand which will contain spectator seating, new entrances and turnstiles, as well as player and officials changing areas.

The site would consist of six new glamping pods, storage building, paths, and car parking.

Under the new plans, capacity at Cavan General Hospital's Emergency Department would be greatly increased.

Under new plans approved today, a new five storey extension to accommodate a new emergency department on the lower ground floor will be constructed.

Shercock Camogie Club applied to Cavan County Council to construct a new Multi Use Games Area on it's site in Lisdrumskeagh.

A decision on the development is due in March.

Newbliss Childcare Services Limited applied to Monaghan County Council to construct a new two storey extension on the existing building.

They would be made up of 17 three bed homes and 7 two beds.
