Planning permission has been lodged for a new housing development in Cavan.
Mithboro Development Limited have put in an application with the council to construct 8 new houses in Yew Park, Virginia.
The houses would be made up of four two-storey, detached four-bed houses, and four two-storey, semi-detached three bed houses.

Connections to public sewerage and water mains are also included.
A decision on the application is due in February.
