Planning lodged for extension at Ballyconnell school

Planning permission has been lodged for an extension to Ballyconnell Mixed National School. The plans submitted to Cavan County Council recently by the board of management of the local school will include a detached part single storey/ part two storey school block.

This extension will incorporate two mainstream classrooms, an office and one SEN classroom. If green the light the local school will see the extending of the school boundaries to incorporate multi-use playing area and connections to existing services and associated site works. County planners will decide on the application by mid-December.
