Planning granted for major works at Cavan school

Planning permission has been granted for major works to a Cavan school. Cavan and Monaghan ETB applied to Cavan County Council to construct a two to four storey extension to Colásite Dún an Rí in Kingscourt. This would be connected to the existing school by a first floor link bridge.

Also included is the installation of Photovoltaic Panels, 39 additional car parking spaces and set down areas, and an additional ballcourt and student outdoor areas. Cavan County Planners granted the application with 25 conditions attached.
