Planning granted for Blayney housing development

Planning permission has been granted for a large housing development in Castleblayney. Berwat Construction limited applied to Monaghan County Council for the construction of 18 new three-bed houses on the Shercock Road in Castleblayney.

Included in the application is the construction of two-storey townhouses comprising three blocks of four and two blocks of three and a new access road from Mile Hill Road. Also included are new roads, open spaces, and landscaping works. Monaghan County Planners granted the application with 20 conditions attached which includes developer contributions totalling almost €250,000.
