Planning permission has been approved for student accommodation at Ballyhaise College in Cavan.
County planners have given the go-ahead for the construction of a 3 storey student accommodation block comprising of 24 en-suite bedrooms.
The college campus accommodation will also offer living and kitchen facilities, ground floor communal spaces and ancillary accommodation.

Cavan County Council has also approved associated site works and services at the agricultural college.
The local authority approved the application with 11 conditions attached for works at the college which itself is a protected structure.
