Planning permission has been approved for 20 homes in Cavan in recent days. Weststate Ltd applied to Cavan County Council for 16, three-bed semi-detached dwellings and 4, two bedroom units at Oldtown, Cavan.
The plans also allow for the connection of existing services and all ancillary works at the development known as 'Oldtown Manor'. County planners gave the go-ahead with 20 conditions attached.
