A planning application has been lodged that would see the construction of a residential block containing five townhouses in Butlersbridge, Co Cavan.
The full services residential block would include five, two-storey townhouses with basement accommodation.
The proposed development site is located just off the main street in the centre of Butlersbridge village.

The planning statement says the works would create a "high-quality residential environment" that would "satisfy the rural housing need of the area".
A decision is expected early next year.
